At this point we've seen so many "gold plated" Porsches that we're losing count. We've seen them covered in tweed, made from wood "murdered out", even a chocolate covered Porsche. However, this Porsche Boxster S marks the first time we've seen a Porsche wrapped in what appears to be copper and covered in crystals.

Nope, it wasn't the all new 911. Esquire selected the all new Porsche Boxster as their 2012 Sports Car of the Year.
