We have the ice-cube tray, beach chair (that's me in the picture above) and towel ourselves, so we know how great these items are.

This contest ends on August 18, 2011. If we pick you as the winner, we’ll notify you via email and/or by commenting below to arrange shipping (so be sure you give us a good email address and be sure to subscribe to comments).

Additional Ways to Win

We have lots more good stuff to give away, (e.g. Flying Lizard team gear, Gift Certificates for Service Work, RC Cars, Die-Cast Models, Books, etc., etc.). What we need are great pictures to use for future contests. If you have a funny or interesting Porsche related picture you think is a good fit for our caption contest send it along to us at captioncontest@flatsixes.com. If we use your photo we’ll send you a PorschePurist shirt just to say thanks.

Porsche technicians discover that dropping a 904 exactly 58 feet magically transforms the body into VW Beetle. Please see completed Beetles in the background !

They hope to reverse engineer the process and turn VW’s into 904s

Thank you to everyone that participated making this our most successful caption contest yet! All of the entries were most entertaining and we enjoyed reading them as they came in.

When it came time to make a decision we narrowed the more than 140 entries down to five (5) and then eventually chose Robin Luke’s entry of,

“And you thought draining the oil on your Porsche was a challenge!”

Congratulations, Robin. Your prize package should be on the way from Porsche Design Driver’s Selection shortly.

Robin is the owner of a ’97 993 C4S and therefor really knows just how challenging oil changes can be…
