Porsche is expanding its 911 lineup for model year 2026 with three new all-wheel-drive “S” variants: the Carrera 4S coupe, Carrera 4S Cabriolet, and Targa 4S. Each gains the upgraded 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine from the Carrera S, now producing 473 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque—up 30 hp over their predecessors. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission drives all four wheels via rear-biased Porsche Traction Management, delivering a zero-to-60 mph sprint in 3.1 seconds and a top track speed of 191 mph on the coupe when equipped with Launch Control.
Standard equipment has also been enhanced. All three models feature Sport Exhaust with silver tailpipes, 408mm front and 380mm rear brakes borrowed from the previous Carrera GTS, and uprated dampers with optimized hydraulics. They retain Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and staggered 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels. Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, PASM Sport suspension (lowering ride height by 10mm) and rear-axle steering are available on the Carrera models, while Targa 4S adds rear-axle steering as standard.
Inside, the new models debut extended leather across seats, headrests, dashboard and door panels, plus Matrix LED headlights, and wireless smartphone charging. The coupe offers two-seat configuration as standard with rear seats optional at no extra cost; Cabriolet and Targa include rear seats as standard.
The Carrera 4S, Carrera 4S Cabriolet and Targa 4S will reach U.S. Porsche centers in the fourth quarter of 2025, with pricing to be announced.
