Every year, around the holidays, we get email after email asking us for Porsche related gift ideas. Usually those emails are from a reader’s spouse looking to surprise their loved one with a gift that would resonate with a Porsche fan. Sometimes the email is from the gift recipient themselves looking for a list to give someone else ideas. Either way, we’ve been putting together our list of recommended gift ideas for Porsche owners, fans and enthusiasts for years. Each year we curate a group of gift ideas that should hit on every level, for every budget. Take a minute to look through our list of Porsche gift ideas for 2015 and don’t be at all embarrassed if you buy yourself something, we weren’t!

This camera is truly wireless, works indoors or out and allows you to view live (or recorded) videos from your computer, smartphone or tablet. Starting at just $99.00 per camera these would make the perfect gift for someone that doesn’t like to let their Porsche out of their sight.
3. Control Your Garage Door Opener with Your Smartphone
Is your Porsche secure in your garage? Did you remember to close that door before you locked up for the night? The Chamberlain MyQ-Garage let’s you know when your garage door is open and allows you to close it from anywhere you have wifi or data on your smartphone. 4. Battery Tender Plus
Whenever we publish our Porsche Winter Storage Guide, the Battery Tender Plus is a best-seller, and for good reason. At just $49.99 the Battery Tender Plus keeps your Porsche’s battery fully charged during long term periods of storage with the damaging effects caused by some other trickle chargers. The package includes a quick connect harness for hard to reach places (we use ours to come at the batter from underneath so we don’t have to leave the front hood open). You can get yours on Amazon.com by following this link.
5. Cyntur Jumper Pack
Ok, so maybe you didn’t listen and you never purchased the Battery Tender like we suggested. No problem. The Cyntur JumperPack Mini will get you back on the road in no time. What I like best about this unit, besides its very portable size, is the built-in 200 Lumen LED light that can help you during a night-time break down by lighting up your work area or by warning oncoming traffic with its strobe feature. In addition to the LED you get two USB ports for charging phones or tablets when you’re trying to save your Porsche’s battery’s juice. I’m of the opinion that everyone should have one of these in their trunk. At $90.99 we carry one in each of our Porsches.
6. A Torque Wrench From Sonic Tools
In the world of automotive tools you generally get what you pay for. That’s why, for the most part, not all tool manufacturers are equal. Take SONIC Tools, recently named the official tool supplier to IMSA, they offer a lifetime warranty on their tools. Basically, if you break it, they’ll replace it. With that in mind, perhaps one of the most important wrenches any DIYer should have in their toolbox is a torque wrench. These precisely calibrated instruments are important to properly replace your spark plugs or any time you need to accurately tighten the lug nuts on your Porsche’s wheels. SONIC offers a range of torque wrenches in size and strength (from 5NM up to 1000NM. Our go to choice is this 1/2″ 20 to 200NM Torque Wrench for $168.95.
7. CG Lock Performance Add-On for Your Seatbelt
Do you like to go for spirited drives? Do you find you’re moving a bit more in your seat than you would like to? While a 3-point harness is ideal, it’s not necessarily practical for a street car. CG Lock has come-up with a great alternative. Their adapter clamps to the tongue of your existing, factory installed seat belt. Once you install it, a simple pull on the shoulder harness tightens the lap belt portion “racing harness tight”. The say that it provides you with about 80% of the holding power of a full racing harness and prevents you from sliding in your seat. The CG-Lock lets you keep your feet and hands light on the pedals and wheel resulting in better control, faster reactions, and less fatigue.
8. Dashcams aren’t just for crazy Russian videos.

Full-HD 1920*1080 165° Wide Angle Car Dashboard Camcorder with G-Sensor & WDR Superior Night Mode. If you’re not yet using a dashcam, it’s probably only a matter of time. Who knows, you might capture something crazy on the road and get your own 15 minutes of fame with a viral video. However, there’s a much better chance you can use the video proof that an accident wasn’t your fault repaying the cost of the camera almost immediately. Recording starts when you turn on the ignition, has a night mode and an accident detection mode will lock the video to make sure you don’t record over needed footage should the G-Sensor detect you were in an accident. This particular camera is well reviewed on Amazon.com and available for $199.95

Rennsport Reunion V represented the unparalleled passion of Porsche enthusiasts. It drew nearly 60,000 people, from across the globe, to a single destination, all to celebrate one of the most accomplished, most magnetic, and most visceral sports car brands on earth – Porsche.
The unparalleled weekend was headlined by the sights and sounds on, and off the track. Roughly 320 Porsche racecars, in seven racing classes, took to the famed Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit at racing speed. An additional 75 Porsche racecars, all with significant 24 Hours of Le Mans history wowed the spectators, while over 1,400 streetcars overflowed the available corral spaces.

Fortunately, SunCoastParts.com has a selection of various merchandise which commemorates the incredible event ranging in price from $10 to $200. While you’re there, be sure to check out the rest of their holiday specials, including free shipping on orders over $150.
12. DJI Phantom 3 Advanced Quadcopter Drone with 1080p HD Video Camera
You know all those amazing Porsche videos you see on YouTube? Chances are at least part of it was filmed with a drone and this is one of the more popular ones. Admittedly, it’s a stretch to call it “Porsche related”, yet we know a number of Porsche owners who own one and use it for everything from filming their property to filming their Porsches. While not cheap at $699 bucks, they are one of the better reviewed drone and camera combinations on Amazon.com. This is definitely on our wish list!
13. A Trio of Porsche Books
Is this just one entry or should we consider it 3 separate items? I guess it depends. Ideally, you would get them all, but if budget or interest doesn’t allow you can pick from just one or a combination of them. Of all the Porsche related books that came across our desk this year, these three were the ones that interested us the most:
- Porsche Turbo: The Inside Story of Stuttgart’s Turbocharged Road and Race Cars
- Professor Porsche’s Wars: The Secret Life of Legendary Engineer Ferdinand Porsche Who Armed Two Belligerents Through Four Decades
- Porsche 911 Red Book 3rd Edition
