Here’s how you can watch the launch of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS live!

The time has come for the world to finally see the next in a long line of exquisite Porsche RS models, as the 992-generation 911 GT3 RS makes its debut on Wednesday morning at 8AM Pacific. If that’s something you’d like to follow along with, you can just click the play button on the video linked below while it’s live, and you too can see the GT3 RS right along with everyone else. Pretty cool, right?

Of course, if you’re interested in spoiling the whole thing for yourself, or you simply cannot wait until tomorrow morning to see the car, images of the new GT3 RS leaked to the internet this week, and you can check those out by clicking on this link right here.

You can probably guess what the new GT3 RS is going to look like without clicking though, just based on Porsche’s tried and true formula. The GT3 RS has typically looked a lot like the 911 it is based upon, but with more aggressive bodywork and enhanced track-focused aerodynamics. Obviously there will be a big wing, and you’ll see flared fenders, hard-edged bumpers at both ends, big air extraction vents in the fenders and the front trunk lid, and more carbon than you can imagine. There will be a spartan interior. There will be a naturally-aspirated flat six making at least 520 horsepower. It’s a formula that works, why mess with it?

Interestingly, all of the prototypes that have been spotted [as well as the leaked images] are sporting traditional mechanical exterior door handles instead of the current 992 electric pop-out handles. If that’s the level of engineering Porsche is willing to go to in order to shave a few ounces from the weight of the car, we’re excited to see just what the finished product weighs!

So set your alarm clocks for the morning, get your beauty rest now, and jump online first thing Wednesday morning to check out the world premier of the new top-of-the-line 911.
