Our Favorite Porsches on Ebay: Volume 90

We’ve been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for over two years now, and we’ve seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

Otherwise, feel free to check out all the other eBay listings we have on our Porsches for sale pages.

1. 1963 Porsche 356B For Sale

The paint isn’t original nor is it the original color, but it sure does look good. The seller provides a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this 356B but doesn’t detail if the engine or transmission currently powering this Porsche are the same as those noted on the COA (our guess is they’re probably not, but you’ll only know for sure by asking). Mileage is stated to be 56,836 but no word on service records or provenance to back that up. So, again, make sure you do your homework. This 356 looks clean and the price looks low. So, do some some due diligence and if things work out, you might just end up with quite the bargain!

2. 1968 Porsche 912 Vintage Rally car For Sale

Unlike the listing for the 356 above, the description of this 912 Rally car is filled with provenance and info. Restored just five years ago, this 912 has only been driven 250 since then. Prior to that, it raced as new in Rally events held in Sweden. Restored in Florida at Klub Sport Racing, the listing claims significant effort was expended in sourcing details such as the Halda rally equipment, German studded snow tires, rally lighting, skid plate, European heating system and lights, etc. The polo red exterior, while a respray, is the same as the original and period photos were used to duplicate the livery.

3. 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S For Sale

Our Cayenne, while still running well, is getting a bit long-in-the-tooth at 160,000 miles. We don’t expect it to fail, but we do take a lot of long road trips and we’re starting to wonder if maybe we should replace it with something newer. While we’re not looking for Turbo S (or even a Turbo for that matter) we did stumble upon this offering while searching. The seller does’t provide a lot of detail, but it’s the price that grabbed our attention. With just over 45k miles on the odometer, this Turbo has a full factory warranty through April of 2018 or the next 5k miles (which ever comes first). From what we’ve seen, if this Cayenne is in good condition and passes a PPI, it’s priced as much as $10k under current market.

4. 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo For Sale

Just last week we shared with you what a good buy the Porsche 997 Turbo is right now and this 2009 looks like a good example of that. Well optioned and showing just 47k miles, you’ll have to decide if you can handle the tiptronic transmission or not. The pictures on the listing are a bit too “shopped” for my taste so see if you can get some without all the filters applied. Is that an “ice blue” exterior? Looks like a “paint to sample” to my eye. It looks pretty sharp over what appears to be a blue interior. Definitely not a color combination you see every day. At less than 50% of the MSRP, this is a supercar in every sense of the word and one you could drive every day!

5. 1993 Porsche 928 GTS For Sale

No, it’s not a 5-spd and it does have a sunroof, but it’s still a low-mileage 928 GTS that seems to be very “reasonably priced” with a “Buy it Now” of $61,500. The seller, FLATSIXES.com sponsor Chequered Flag, notes the Porsche was held in a collection of the last 7-years and not driven very much. Described as a superb body with excellent paint this 928 GTS is represented as having no dings or scratches and in mechanically excellent condition.

  • Enjoy your articals these last several years but always hoping you would talk more about the Euro 74-76 MFI cars which are 100% 73 RS cars other than the G body to accommodate 5 MPH bumpers. These cars are monsters and not talked enough about.
