Interesting Porsches for Sale Across the Web July 2012

Ever since we started featuring a Porsche for sale each month here on PorschePurist we’ve been inundated with requests from people looking to sell their Porsche on our site. So, while we put the finishing touches on a new classified section of the site (that will allow readers to list their Porsches for sale themselves) we thought we would start doing a round-up of interesting Porsches we’ve seen available from both private owners and a few of our sponsors. 1988 Porsche 911 dp Slant Nose Targa

According to Michael Willhoit (a PorschePurist Sponsor), this particular Porsche “turns more heads than a tennis match”! I then to agree with him. dp Conversions are one of those tuners that you either love or hate, there doesn’t seem to be any room in between. For those who love the dp look, this is the 911 for you. With only 15,000 miles and an asking price of $79,900, this particular dp slant nose 911 Targa is extremely well documented, one owner and perhaps the only 911 Slant Nose Targa to be converted by dp. SOLD! 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 for sale

Here’s a weekend Porsche that hasn’t yet enjoyed enough weekends. Showing only 8,162 miles on the clock, this one owner racing yellow GT3 is for sale from a private seller in California. No accidents, damage or body work ever. Service history consists of a dealer oil change at 5700 miles and then again by the owners at 7000 miles along with a new OEM Interstate battery installed last year. We think the asking price for this Porsche is a bit high at $90k, but we spoke to the seller directly and they’re willing to talk to the right, private buyer. 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera RS for sale

This car comes by way of SloanCars.com (a PorschePurist Sponsor) and is one of our all time favorite Porsches. Originally built for the European market this particular Porsche was imported via Japan and then professionally converted to comply with all US laws using the “show and display” process (same as what is used for 959s). 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S 918 Spyder Edition

This is the first one I remember seeing come up for sale. Originally offered in a limited edition series of 918, these particular Turbo S’s were only available to those fortunate few who have put down deposits for the upcoming Porsche 918 Sypder. Originally for sale at the same pricing as the “ordinary” 911 Turbo S cabriolet ($172,100) this Spyder seems to be a bit aggressively priced with a starting bid of $175k. However, as there’s not a lot of price history on these and it’s unknown exactly how many of the 918 available were built, this might end up being a good buy for someone. 1979 Porsche 930 for sale

The say a picture is worth a 1000 words. In this instance, it’s possible worth $49k. At least that’s the asking price for this amazingly colored Porsche 930. The listing doesn’t give details on service history, but based on the quality we see in the pictures we’re betting it’s fairly solid.
