1. 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo S Race Car For Sale
If you’re a Porsche fanatic who is looking to go racing in style, there’s hardly a better car to do it in than this 944 Turbo. It’s certainly one of the cleanest cars on the circuit, and the gold-over-black motif is never going out of style. This example is nicely turned out with a fresh rebuild, and is immediately eligible for PCA racing, or any number of vintage classes. If you’ve ever wanted to get into motorsport, this boosted bad boy might be the one for you.

2. Porsche 986 Boxster Spec Boxster Race Car For Sale
If a vintage ride with a collector price tag isn’t for you, perhaps you should look into the National Auto Sport Association’s Spec Boxster class. 986 Boxsters are inexpensive, easy to drive for a newby, and with a spec-classification are super competitive with other Spec Boxsters. You’ll never run out of fun in something like this. This particular car comes ready to race with an IMS upgrade already taken care of.

3. 1984 Porsche 911 Cabriolet For Sale
If you don’t actually want a race car, but you want the kind of car that you could tell people is a race car and have them conceivably believe you, this gold 911 Cabriolet might be your ticket. Normal people don’t know a lot about cars, so you say Porsche and they immediately think Race Car anyway, because they don’t know what a real race car is. This early Cabriolet has been kitted out with some crazy body modifications, including Strosek side skirts, fiberglass front and rear bumpers, and a huge decklid spoiler. It’s so bad it’s almost good again.

4. 1976 Porsche 911 DP 935 Race Car For Sale
There’s no mistaking a DP bodied Kremer car for anything else. From the long sloping slant nose to the smooth transitions and abrupt rear wing uprights, this thing screams Porsche 935 from a hundred yards away. While this car started life as a standard 911, it was upgraded and raced in period, and eventually the motorsport-derived 3.4-liter engine was replaced with a proper single-turbo 3.0-liter 962 engine, which remains in the car today. If you want a nice vintage racer, this one could be your Valiant effort.

5. 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder For Sale
It’s difficult to look at a gorgeous Boxster Spyder like this one and not sigh for the fact that you haven’t got one in your driveway right now. While this is a PDK-equipped model, and I’d certainly prefer the manual version, this seems to be a lot of car for the money. With the erector-set top and devilish details, the Boxster Spyder was one of the coolest Porsches of the last decade. I wanted one then, and I still want one now. Pick one up before people realize how rare they are and values explode.
