On the same day that Porsche officially unveiled the production version of the 918 Spyder in Frankfurt at the International Auto Show, they also let it be known that the 918 Spyder (in its Weissach form) ran the fastest Nürburgring lap, ever. Not only did it beat its own previous record by more than 17 seconds. It beat ALL previous records for any other manufacturer. The video below puts you in the driver’s seat with Mark Lieb.
