It was just a few days ago that Porsche showed us pictures of the 918 in historic Martini Racing Livery. Now, it seems like the marketing machine may be getting ready to shift into overdrive. Just recently a video surfaced on YouTube by a user with the handle “liquidsk8s“. According to the the description that accompanies the video, the footage is from “an event hosted for the release of the production 918 Spyder at Canoe Studios”. If this video is what it appears to be, Porsche put together some type of event for either the press or possibly future owners. By the way, don’t let the image below fool you. While the 918 RSR is prominently featured in this video, the main character is definitely the road going 918.
I don’t know about you, but I simply can’t wait to see more of this incredible machine. I sure as hell hope we get the chance to drive one. In fact, I might be happy simply being a passenger.
