This Is The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition

Porsche has a history of giving us special editions as one model is on the way out and another is on the way in. This weekend, during Rennsport Reunion V, Porsche kept up the tradition and introduced us to what may be one of the most collectible limited edition production models offered in some time, the Rennsport Reunion Edition 911 Carrera GTS built by Porsche Exclusive.

Not only is this 430 hp 911 one of the last naturally aspirated 911s to come off the line, it’s available exclusively with a manual transmission and Porsche is only building 25 of them. That’s right, just 25 examples.

Painted in the custom color Fashion Grey, the Rennsport Reunion Edition is decorated with black and red decals on the front hood, the roof, and the rear decklid.

In addition, the driver and passenger doors wear black and red decals featuring the PORSCHE logotype.

20-inch Sport Classic wheels painted in high-gloss black give the Rennsport Reunion Edition a very striking appearance.

The lower exterior trim of the side mirrors as well as the satellite radio antenna are also finished in high-gloss black.

LED headlights in Black including PDLS Plus complete the black accents on the exterior.

Inside the 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition, both the Carbon Fiber dashboard trim above the glove compartment as well as the illuminated door-sill guards in Carbon Fiber display the designation of the special model.

As part of the GTS Interior Package, the SportDesign steering wheel, the door panel trim, the dashboard trim, the floor mats, and the GTS logo on the headrests are all stitched in Carmine Red. The central tachometer and the seat belts also feature this color.

The center compartment lid is embossed with the Rennsport Reunion V logo.

Available exclusively with a manual transmission, the 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition, powered by a naturally aspirated 430 hp 3.8 liter flat-six engine, is capable of launching the exclusive 911 from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top track speed of 190 mph.

Other standard features on the Rennsport Reunion Edition 911 include 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, PASM Sport Suspension, a Bose® Audio Package, and Rear Park Assist.

Price of the Rennsport Reunion Edition 911

Limited to only 25 models and sold exclusively in North America, the MSRP for the 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition, which goes on sale immediately, is $148,335, not including the $995 destination charge.
