In conjunction with the unveiling of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo at the Paris Motor Show, Porsche has launched a new microsite with pictures, information and details on what we think is one of the sexiest looking station wagons this side of our 1963 Ford Country Squire.
In browsing through Porsche’s offering we noted something labeled as “Mobile online services”. Basically, it’s an app that “enables drivers to access and process all important information about their car via a smartphone.” Essentially, you’ll be able to check up on the status of your new Porsche from the comfort of your couch. Wondering how much gas you have left or how far you can go on the current battery charge? The app will let you know. Want to see if you remembered to plug in your Porsche before you go to bed? The app can do that. Did you spend a hot day in the mall and can’t remember where you parked? Not only can the app locate your Porsche for you, you can turn on the AC as well. We think you can expect to see these mobile online services featured in all new Porsches in the very near future.
