Such A Shame This Porsche Police Car Will Never Be Used To Fight Crime

Instead, it’s a promotional tool. This customized police Porsche will spend its days traveling to various schools across Sydney in community building efforts.

Donated by Porsche Cars Australia, this Porsche police car has a value of nearly $200,000.

The unique blue and white checkered livery was created as part of a contest won by a University of Western Sydney student.

It comes fully equipped with everything you would expect in a normal police car including the low profile lights and siren.

The new 911 Porsche police car will be operated by the Harborside Police force along Sydney’s north shore.

With a top speed of 259 km/hr (that’s 161 mph) you would think the police in the northern part of Sydney, Australia would be chomping at the bit to go chase down some local speeders.

  • What a good job the police have in Sydney you would be the first in the station every day to take the patrol car out. The Porsche was at RENNSPORT in Sydney early this year.
