This is one of the better in-car racing videos I’ve seen in a long time. The camera placement and picture quality from the Dodge Viper are enough to make you feel like your on the track doing the driving. Fortunately, the Porsche GT3 keeps the lead for most of the race so you get a good feel for the line taken, turn-ins, speed in the straights, etc. The only thing missing would be some form of telemetrics so we could see speed, RPM and gear changes as both GT3s make their way through the sometimes heavy traffic. The good part doesn’t start until about 45 seconds in.

Incredible !
that is the most awesome 10 min clip!!
@Jackie and RHI,
Glad the two of you enjoyed it. So far today, about 400 people have watched the clip, but you two are the first to comment.. The Porsche community is very quiet... :-)
Awesome video!!!
@Nitro,
That seems to about sum it up!!! :-)
Wow! Two very good drivers, two awesome cars and great battle. The Viper clearly has the legs but the Porsche is able to defend right down to the apex when needed. I did see that the Porsche was on the brakes a little too long typically which allowed the Viper to continually draw up close. Fun to watch in traffic and very curious in the end, did the Viper get baulked? How did the Porsche pass on the straight? Was this a FIA GT spec GT3 Cup? RS?
