While this short spoof may not revive Dolph Lundgren’s acting career, it does show that Mini is going to keep throwing jab after jab at Porsche. Is it getting old yet? For those of you that don’t remember. Here’s the original training montage from Rocky IV.
Here’s what I want to know. If Porsche doesn’t respond (and I don’t think they will), does Mini win by TKO? Or, is Mini starting to look desperate?

This is getting a bit old. Just because Mini wants to challenge Porsche it does not mean that Porsche has to accept or do what Mini wants. This seems more personal than professional/meaningful - a former employee that wants to burn his former employer than a true comparison of competitors. They are completely different car classes and I could care less.
Isn't the Mini really a British BMW - if we look at BMW vs. Porsche then enough said.
The Mini Cooper S is an outstanding automobile. I lived with and loved one of these machines for about three years. However, I also spent those years with a fully-sorted and track-ready 944 and a poser-ready 928 S4, and I can honestly tell you that while the Mini is a superb street-fighting machine, it cannot possibly keep up with either one of my Porsches, in any venue. It will always be hampered by its front wheel drive layout, which to be completely honest, gets a bit spooky at the limits. The rear end of the Mini just kind of follows along with the music and doesn't really carry the tune. Which I find disconcerting. But for 25 grand, it's a hell of a car! Whee! You could have two of them in your garage and change leftover for what the cheapest new Porsche would cost you. And still have 90% of the fun! Well, make it 80%, I'm still a Porsche guy.
So it looks like Mini hired a Porsche driver to come to Atlanta to race against the Mini and surprise, the Porsche won.
