I’ve taken a little time off from posting (went away for the New Year Holiday) and that gave me some time to think through what I would like to do to my car this year. Here’s the short list of upgrades I’m considering (in no particular order):
- New Susupension (PSS9)
- HID headlight upgrade
- RSR Mufflers
- New Speakers
- Clear bra
- Replace Tires
- Bumper plugs
- New Tires (not really an upgrade, but I do need them)
From the research I’ve done, the HID upgrade seems to be the best bang for the buck. It looks like I can get everything I need for $200 to $300 depending on what I decide to go with and install myself in a couple of hours. This will be my first true DIY project with this car, so I plan to document.
I would very much like to do the suspension upgrade. As much as I love my car, the ride height is so high, it looks like an SUV. I need to do more research on this and get a better understanding of the work involved and costs. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know.
The hardest part about doing the upgrades is trying to determine where to put my limited budget. So many things to do and not enough money to do it… (I’m sure I’m not alone on this).
