This must be the week for strange crashes around the world in the various Porsche Carrera Cup series. First we saw Pedro Piquet flip his GT3 Cup car 9-times. Now, comes word of one of the more unusual crashes we’ve seen or heard about in some time.
In this instance, drivers Jules Gounon and Joffrey Narda made contact just after the start of the race at the Circuit de Navarra. What happens next is just bizarre…

Thankfully, neither was seriously hurt and Narda (Porsche on the bottom) was actually able to get his Porsche repaired and went on to win the third race of the weekend. No word on how they got Gounon’s 911 down…
