UPDATE: Porsche 5 Million Facebook Fans Celebration Continues With a Contest
Were you one of the lucky Facebook fan that had their name printed on a special 911 GT3 R Hybrid in celebration of Porsche reaching 1,000,000 Facebook fans? How about having your picture on the Porsche Exclusive Cayman S created to celebrate 2,000,000 fans? If so, good for you, if not, here’s your chance to participate in another celebration. Porsche recently reached the milestone of 5,000,000 facebook fans and they’re building a very special 911 Carrera 4S to celebrate.
Facebook Fans Get to Vote on the Porsche’s Specifications
Each week Porsche will ask their fans to vote on different sections of the 911. First off is choosing the exterior color. Once that’s done we’ll customize the interior and exterior packages along with a number of other option. Once completed Porsche will build the car some time in June and then display it at the Porsche Museum (presumable along with the other Facebook Porsches).
Update: The winning Porsche 911 Carrera 4S turned out to be sleek and sporty. Voters opted for the exterior Sport package, which offers PASM sport suspension and modified dual-tube tailpipes. The fans also chose 20-inch Carrera S wheels. The winning interior was simple and elegant: black and platinum gray upholstery, accented with custom brushed aluminum.
