Ok, well maybe not Porsche alone, but they did take part in a silver medal winning run during the 2002 Olympics. You see, Porsche helped design the sled, seen below, alongside professional sportsman Georg Hackl. It was with this model that Hackl won the Olympic silver medal in 2002.
80 Years of Porsche Engineering
The sled above, along with a number of other unique designs (including the “Adventure” electric wheelchair with independent four-wheel spring suspension) was on display at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart as part of a special exhibition that paid tribute to Ferdinand Porsche establishing his first engineering office in 1931. During the exhibition visitors were able to experience the most important and exciting customer developments of the past eight decades. On display was approximately 20 special exhibits ranging from the development of entire vehicles via engines and transmissions to remarkable industrial projects of the present day.
One of the great things about the Porsche Museum is how often the displays are changes and special exhibits are added. I’m sure this one will come back around in due time.

Porsche: Winning On and Off the Racetrack.
I think getting on a Luge and traveling at blinding speeds might take similar efforts and testicular fortitude as it does to race Porsches in Motorsport. Still both tracks, just one is made of ice. :-)
