New York Auto Museum Adds 16-Car Aircooled Porsche Exhibit You Absolutely Need To See

We get it. You’ve been cooped up in your house for the last year and a half, you’re ready to get back out into the world and experience cool car stuff again. The time has come to get back to normal, and the Saratoga Automobile Museum has you Porsche fanatics covered with its new exhibit. Rare Air is a 16-car display documenting the best air-cooled Porsches from history, all on loan from the Steven Harris collection. Opening on Sunday, May 9, the exhibit is presented by Porsche and local Porsche dealer Clifton Park, and will have a little bit of Porsche love for everyone, whether you’re a 356 fanatic or a 911 nut!

From 1956 to 1995, the collection runs the gamut of performance Porsches, and includes some seriously rare birds, hence the name of the exhibit. The SC/RS, for example, is one of only twenty built for worldwide consumption. Five different four-cam-powered 356s in one place is also a rarity. This sounds like a truly amazing selection of cars. You won’t want to miss it. Here’s everything being displayed in Rare Air.
