Patrick Dempsey’s Porsche Has A New Livery For The 2015 FIA WEC Season

The opening round of the 2015 FIA WEC season is just days away and we’ve already seen Porsche’s new LMP1 livery designed especially for Le Mans. With just a little more than 3-days to go, Porsche is teasing another new livery, this time for Patrick Dempsey’s 911 RSR.

As most of you know, Dempsey confirmed he would run a full season in the WEC under the Dempsey Proton Racing banner. We also know that Patrick long will be joining Dempsey as a team-mate for the season with Porsche’s support. What we didn’t know, until today, was what Patrick’s car would look like. That’s it below.

It seems that Porsche wants to tease it, but Patrick published the photos above and below on his Twitter feed.

It’s a sharp looking livery and if you look closely you’ll note a new sponsor, Spyder Active Sports. In fact, if you jump over to the Spyder site, they’ve published a full shot of the actual car on Patrick’s profile page.

Personally, I think 2014’s liveries (across almost all teams) were quite boring. Dempsey’s new livery looks to me to be a crowd pleaser.
