Porsche Announces More Driver Changes. This Time It’s In The WEC GT Cars

Earlier today we learned of Porsche’s final driver line-up for their third 919 Hybrid LMP1 entry in the WEC. Right on the heals of that announcement comes word that Porsche Team Manthey has reshuffled its factory driver lineup in the two Porsche 911 RSR entries in the WEC and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Michael Christensen to take the wheel of #91 for Porsche in the WEC

Last year, it was Jörg Bergmeister and Richard Lietz in the #91 911 RSR. This year, Michael Christensen will team up with Lietz in the #91 car and Jörg will support the pairing as a third driver when they contest the 24 classic at Le Mans. Drivers of the #92 911 RSR remain unchanged from last year with the Frenchmen Frédéric Makowiecki and Patrick Pilet as the two pilots. Germany’s Wolf Henzler will join Makowiecki and Pilet as their third driver in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
