On Sunday the 20th Porsche returned to the World Endurance Championship with a double victory in the GTE-Pro class and a podium finish for the 919 Hybrid. While the race wasn’t without issues for the 919 (one of the two cars had to retire early and the 919 that landed on podium did so 2 laps down) it was still a successful first outing for Porsche’s factory teams.
