One of best parts about publishing this site is the opportunities we get to rub elbows with the likes of Hurley Haywood. During Porsche press tours and other events we’ve spent countless hours listening to Hurley and his stories. He’s always warm, genuine and passionate. As much as we cherish these opportunities, we’re usually so overwhelmed with the reason we’re with him in the first place (testing a new Porsche model, covering an auction, driving at PSDS, etc.) that we don’t get to retell the stories we hear. Fortunately, Roads & Rides has their Legends of Racing series and in this one they feature Hurley during this year’s Amelia Island. Watch as Hurley discusses his past, his favorite race and the fantasy race he’d want to run today.
