Why It’s Important to Support Flying Lizard
This year’s final race of the 2010 ALMS season is poised to be particularly dramatic. Joerg Bergeister and Patrick Long are the definite favorites to repeat last year’s Drivers’ Championship win. Holding a 22 point lead going in, Joerg and Patrick need to finish 10th or better after completing at least 70% of the laps to hold onto their lead. Personally, I’m hoping for a win that shouts a pretty big statement to the rest of the field.
As if the Drivers’ Championship weren’t enough, Porsche holds a one point lead in both the manufacturer and team championships. According to Joerg, “The title is virtually within our grasp. Still, we’ll be doing everything to bring home as many points as possible and to also secure the manufacturer and team titles for Porsche.”

I want my lanyard...FL did a super job..I think with the inclusion of another Italian car in next years season Porsche might start thinking about more horsepower in there normally aspirated engines...great season...Robert
