Watch a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Being Built in Timelapse

It was just two short weeks ago that CORE autosport’s Porsche GT3 RSR was caught up in the unprecedented wreck during the start of the Baltimore Grand Prix. The accident was so bad that they couldn’t continue the race and the Porsche itself was irreparably damaged. Now, just two short weeks later the team is ready to go with a new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (built on the last of the 997 chassis). Watch the video below to see just how much is involved in putting a Porsche race-car together.

Video condenses eight days of work into a little over three minutes of film

What impresses me most about the CORE team is not the fact that they were able to rebuild their car so quickly (allthough that’s a pretty dam good accomplishment in itself) but rather, the surgical like cleanliness of their shop. Look at the shine on that floor. That’s the sign of a well disciplined team and a well disciplined team is a winning team!
