Last weekend photographer/videographer/director/Porsche enthusiast extraordinaire, Mr. Jeff Zwart, took on the mountain at Pikes Peak, and won his class by a pretty good margin. Chattering, whistling, boosting, and clunking his way up the course in his Luminox-sponsored turbocharged 997-generation GT3 Cup, Zwart managed a phenomenal 9:46.243 time, some 12 seconds faster than his 2014 run, to take the Time Attack 1 category victory.
Jeff has been coming to Pikes Peak for decades now, and he’s done a lot of miles at the hill in Porsche machinery. This BBi-prepared turbocharged insanity machine GT3 Cup, however, is by far his quickest; turning lap times that were considered impossible just a few short years ago. Since the entirety of the road climbing to the peak was paved a few years ago, times have been tumbling, thanks to stiffer suspension setups, and the use of wider, stickier tires.
So climb on board with Jeff as he brings a turbo terror assault on the hill, setting a new personal best and Time Attack 1 class record in the process. Turn it up, kick back, and enjoy!

Scary as hell! Fantastic pilot, can't imagine the size of his kahunas, glad I wasn't in the pass seat! I'm new to this site, just recently a 997 Turbo owner. What kind of trans. set-up is this, never saw anything similar? Also just curious, why was the windshield wiper extended?
