Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, honored its ten best suppliers. First prize for this past fiscal year was awarded to BBS International GmbH from Schiltach, Germany. This company produces lightweight metal wheels for the premium sports car manufacturer. The “Supplier Awards” ceremony was held at the customer center of Porsche Leipzig GmbH.
“Only through close cooperation with our suppliers are we able to perform continuously at a peak level in development and production. That is why we have relied on long-term relationships with our suppliers for years. These annual “Supplier Awards” give us the opportunity to thank our suppliers for their successful collaboration,” explained Michael Macht, President and CEO of Porsche AG. Suppliers have also contributed considerably to new and second-hand Porsche cars repeatedly being certified with outstanding quality in international studies – most recently with first place in the J. D. Power reliability study on second-hand car quality.
Besides BBS International GmbH, Porsche also honored nine other suppliers for their top-rate performance and services. These include Brembo S.P.A., Dietz-automotive GmbH & Co. KG, HBPO GmbH, Lear Corporation GmbH, Rehau AG + Co., Takata-Petri AG, Zizala Lichtsysteme GmbH, Friedrich Bühler GmbH & Co. KG as well as the logistics company ATG Autotransportlogistic GmbH.
