Porsche’s World Wide Sales By Country For February 2015

Porsche handed over more than 14,800 new cars to customers worldwide in February 2015. In the first two months of the year, Porsche AG has sold around 30,900 cars – a growth of one-third in comparison to the same period last year. Despite a mostly flat February in the U.S., Porsche’s world wide sales continued their upward trajectory thanks in a large part to growth in Europe and Asia. For the 2nd month in a row, China outpaced the U.S. as Porsche’s largest single market taking delivery of more than 4200 vehicles for an increase of 76% over last year and a nearly 32% lead over the U.S.).

“Porsche was again successful in February, throughout the world, with figures higher than last year’s”, said Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. “For 2015, we expect further momentum through the systematic expansion of our product range – at the moment, this refers to the two sportiest derivatives of the model range: the Cayman GT4 and the 911 GT3 RS.”

In Porsche’s home market of Germany, more than 2000 deliveries were made in February, an increase of nearly 40% compared to the same month last year. In Europe, last year’s figure was surpassed by almost one-half: Porsche delivered exactly 4,848 vehicles to customers there. Deliveries in Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy have more than doubled in each of these countries as well.
