Hertz Updates Their Rental Fleet To Include Another Porsche Model

European Travelers have long known that you could rent a Porsche from Hertz while traveling on business or holiday in Europe. So, it came as no real surprise when Hertz and Porsche expanded their agreement to include the U.S. back in 2012. The state side agreement started with just the Panamera model, as part of their Dream Cars program, but expanded the line-up to include the 911, Boxster and Cayenne in 2013. The Cayman was quietly slipped in after and today comes word of the latest addition, the Porsche Macan.

The Hertz Dream Cars program is only available in select markets and as of today, the Macan looks like it is available in Florida only. However, I think it’s safe to say deliveries will expand to other areas of the country and it’s a great way to get behind the wheel of your favorite Porsche and live with it for a little while before committing to a lease or purchase. No word yet on the rental price for the Macan. However, the Cayenne rents for $300 per day, with 75 miles included, so our guess would be the Macan will slot in close to that price range.
