Porsche Opens New Classic Center in Norway

Earlier this week Porsche announced the opening of a new Classic Center in Norway. Found in the Norwegian city of son-around, an hour’s drive south of Oslo, this mark’s the world’s third Porsche Classic Center.

The Porsche Classic service network is designed specifically for vintage cars and modern classics and consists of two types of location:

  • Porsche Classic Centers: Currently there are just three of these worldwide -in Norway, the Netherlands and France. Think of them as an extension of your Porsche dealership, but set-up to specifically and only service and sell classic Porsches.
  • Porsche Classic Partners: There are currently 51 of them across the world. These are part of your regular Porsche Dealer. However, they differ from other Porsche dealers in that they are equipped with special tools, model-specific repair instructions, and have undergone special training that allows for the best-possible maintenance and repair.

With more than 70% of all Porsches ever produced still on the road, expect the Porsche Classic service network to continuously expand. Right now there are network location in Germany, the US and 15 other countries. New Porsche Classic Centers are being built in Australia and Canada. No word on when the first one will be built in the US.
