Porsche Cars Canada Sales By Model: August 2018

Where PCNA has had a slight stumble in the month of August this year, Porsche Cars Canada has thrived. With a huge increase in Macan placements, our neighbors to the north were able to overcome a dip in Cayenne sales due to a lack of available units as the new generation model production is ramped up. Like PCNA sales, however, PCC experienced downward turns on all models excepting the Macan and Panamera.

With the Macan selling nearly three times as many units in August 2018 as compared to the same month in 2017, it’s becoming an increasingly significant model in Porsche’s lineup. Last month, the Macan accounted for 63.5% of the company’s Canadian sales.

“We are pleased to see that the summer momentum continues through August with registered highs for both Macan and Panamera,” said Marc Ouayoun, President & CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. “Two-door sports cars also performed well with an overall increase of 20 per cent [year-to-date] over the previous year.”

PCC has also sold a massive 239 Certified Pre-Owned units in August, accounting for a 15% increase when compared to last year.
