Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. reported today their best December sales on record with 550 units. This represents the 60th month of consecutive growth. In all of 2016, Porsche has sold 7,061 new vehicles in Canada – representing 10% over 2015 and making it the seventh best year in a row.
“By surpassing 7,000 new vehicle sales, we’ve achieved our Strategy 2018 goal two years ahead of time, alongside new records in Pre-Owned, After Sales, and customer satisfaction,” said Alexander Pollich, President & CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. “A strong foundation has been set and the focus is now on implementing our new Strategy 2025, a visionary plan that will propel the brand to even further heights.”
With 946 units reported – a growth of 8% – the Porsche 911 was one of the three Porsche model lines that experienced historic results in 2016 with pinnacle annual sales. Combined Cayman and 718 Cayman sales drove the model 7% up with 345 new cars sold. Rounding out the list, the compact SUV Macan completed the year with a 32% increase from 2015.
Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales reached 168 units for the month and 1,897 for the year. This represents a 25% and 22% year over year increase respectively as well as December and yearly records.
