Porsche Classic Center Takes On A Small Project In This New Video

With Porsche’s Taycan electric car just now reaching the point where buyers can place their order with a local Porsche dealer, it’ll be a little while before you can buy a full electric Porsche. Unless, that is, you’re a small child. There are a few places you can get the original 356 design as a full electric toy car for children to drive around, and this lucky kid has a beautiful tiny speedster. Porsche Classic Center Gelderland in the Netherlands created this short video to showcase their workshop, their customer service, and the owner’s passion for the vintage Porsche. It’s cute, and you should definitely click the play button to see what they’ve done.

The owner of the dealership is clearly enthusiastic about vintage Porsche, as he picked up a small 356 for his son to drive around. It would seem that after driving his tiny 356 around for a while, the kid thought it was in need of restoration and brought it in to his father’s dealer. A restoration, including a full re-spray, makes it look about as good as it possibly could.

If Porsche Classic Center Gelderland can build the small 356 of this kid’s dreams, it would almost be easier for them to build and restore a full-sized model. That holds true of all Porsche Classic Centers, as they have the enthusiasm, knowledge, parts, and expertise to make sure your Porsche is properly restored and cared for. This little video may be an advertising bit, but it certainly gave me a brighter view of PCC dealers, as it shows they have a love of the brand and its heritage.

Oh, and by the way, you can buy a small electric 356 from Porsche Classic in certain markets. It’s pretty cool. Or, these incredible electric scale model Porsches we featured a number of years ago.
