Porsche Experience Center Atlanta is marking its 10-year anniversary with a public event scheduled for June 7. The facility, which first opened in 2014, has hosted a variety of driving activities and has attracted a significant number of visitors over the years. It is also known for serving as a filming location in a movie franchise.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to the public with ticketed admission. General admission tickets are priced starting at $50 and include access to the event and two food tickets. Activities planned for the day include demonstration laps, time in the simulator lab, food offerings, and other scheduled events such as giveaways. Tickets for the simulator experiences and demonstration laps are sold separately.
Participants opting for demonstration laps will have the choice of riding in a 911 Carrera S or GTS model on the South Track. For those interested in GT variants, rides will take place on the West Track. The simulator lab will offer visitors a chance to engage in a virtual driving experience using professional-grade equipment.
Michelle Rainey, Director of Porsche Experience Centers, commented on the milestone, saying, “I was there when the very first guests were welcomed – and it’s been truly a privilege to be part of such a fantastic team that has seen our site grow and thrive since those early days.” She added, “For the last decade we have inspired a community of dreamers who value the heritage, innovation and style that our vehicles represent. This anniversary is a great chance to celebrate Porsche’s presence in the surrounding Hapeville and Atlanta communities.”
The anniversary event is part of Porsche’s ongoing community engagement and public programming at the Experience Center, which is located near the brand’s North American headquarters in Atlanta.
