Time for a Change!

I’ve been writing this blog now for two months. In that time I’ve made new friends, met new people, had interesting conversations with readers through email and from commenting here on the site. In addition, I’ve learned quite a bit more about Porsche the brand and the people that associate themselves with it, and most importantly, learned what I like writing about and doing with this blog.

In the very short time that 993C4S.com has been online the traffic and visits from people within the Porsche community, as well as other car aficionados, has grown tremendously. As a result, for the next week, I will be spending a considerable amount of time changing the look and feel of the site. The reason for this is I want to make my content more accessible to you the reader. In addition, I will change my posting schedule (from a daily post Monday through Friday) to a posting schedule of two to three posts per week. The idea is to allow for more in-depth and researched posts that provide even more valuable and useful information (that’s not to say I won’t still post great Ebay finds like the most recent Metallica Porsche).

New things to look forward to with the updated site:

  1. More general Porsche content for the newbie
  2. Featured video of the week
  3. Porsche book of the month
  4. Porsche movie of the month
  5. More interviews with well know Porsche personalities.
  6. More Porsche road-test comparisons (upcoming include Aston Martin DB9 and Mercedes CL55 AMG).
  7. A section on classic Porsches and restoration
  8. Porsche Motorsports
  9. A larger and more robust “For Sale” section
  10. Picture galleries
  11. Readers suggestion

Okay, that’s enough. You get the idea. The fact is, you the reader help to dictate what I’m going to cover. Without input, I simply post on the topics that are important to me and hope that you find them informative and interesting. With your input, I’m able to shape this blog into a community that provides both education and entertainment (for all of us).

I look forward to your feedback as the new site is rolled out. As always, your comments – positive or negative – are welcome.
