Porsche’s March 2015 Worldwide Deliveries By Country

The number of new Porsches delivered each month continues on an upward trajectory. Overall, the company sold 20,222 new Porsches worldwide in March 2015 marking a 31.5% year-over-year increase. For the first quarter of 2015 a total of 51,102 Porsches were delivered, a 32%+ increase compared to the same period in 2014.

“In the first quarter we delivered more than 50,000 new cars for the first time, continuing the success of 2014. This signals further solid growth”, said Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Porsche AG. “The Macan has exceeded all expectations since its launch and we have handed 62,644 vehicles over to customers within the space of just twelve months. Around three quarters of them are new customers and the compact SUV is reaching a younger target group on average in all markets.”

In March, the U.S. regained its title as Porsche’s largest single market with a total of 4291 new cars delivered to customers. China, which for the last two months was outpacing the U.S., showed a 19.5% increase over last year’s numbers for total deliveries of 4,138 as Porsche’s 2nd largest single market for the month of March 2015.
