Porsche’s World Wide Sales By Region For September 2014

Porsche has delivered 135,600 vehicles to customers worldwide in 2014, 13% more than in the first nine months of 2103. For September, Porsche AG handed over a total of 15,800 new cars to customers and achieved a 22% growth in comparison to the same month last year.

“In September, we carried forward our growth strategy across the globe,” said Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Porsche AG. “With the Cayenne S E-Hybrid currently showcased at the Paris Motor Show, Porsche is now offering three sporty alternatives with plug-in hybrid drive in the premium segment and continues to build out its innovation leadership in this segment.”

In the Chinese market, Porsche boasted of 32,600 deliveries to customers in the last few months. This is a 19% increase compared to the period from January to September 2013. In Europe, last year’s figure was surpassed by 15%: Porsche delivered over 43,300 vehicles to customers. In their home market of Germany, Porsche posted two-digit growth figures and realized a gain of 12% with 17,800 new car deliveries.

As with previous years, the Porsche model most in demand, worldwide, is the Cayenne: more than 51,000 SUVs were sold all over the world. 18,700 Panameras were delivered by Porsche. While the 911 out paced last year’s numbers with 22,900 sold.
