Porsche is recalling 1702 cars from the 2010 and 2011 model year. The Porsche models affected are the 911 GT2 RS, 911 GT3, 911 GT3 RS, 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S. Apparently, these Porsches built between May 18, 2009 and Sept. 17, 2010 and equipped with center locking hubs could experience premature hub wear causing the center nut to loosen and increase the likely hood of a crash. Anyone who owns one of these Porsches and has questions or concerns should contact their local Porsche dealer for more information.
