Porsche Wins Seven of Fifteen First Place Spots as “Sportiest Car of 2011”

German magazine “Sportauto” conducted their annual readers’ survey asking participants to name “The Sportiest Car of 2011” in various categories. Last year Porsche won three first places. This year, seven. From the Boxster to the Panamera the entire line-up was represented.

The top models of the 911 line dominated the winners group from the Carreara GTS cabriolet and the Turbo S cab to the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS. Each of these sports cars received three times as many votes as the runners up. Other Porsche winners inclued the new lightweight Cayman R, the Boxster S and the Panamera Turbo.
