Playmobil is expanding their selection of Porsches. Following on last year’s Targa 4S and 2015’s Carrera S, Playmobil has added the GT3 Cup to the lineup. The GT3 Cup is part of Playmobil’s Sport & Action series, and is currently the only motorsports playset in a collection that is primarily hockey players.
The new set includes front, rear and interior lighting, as well as a removable roof to simplify getting the driver in and out (Note: the full roof is removable from the windshield frame back to the bottom of the rear window, this is not a reuse of the Targa bodyshell). The model looks very detailed, with a roll cage and center lock wheels with color-keyed lugs.
The full kit includes two figures, tools, a spare wheel cart, jack, laptops and a podium. The new set is currently available on Amazon for $44.99, or on Playmobil’s US site for the same price.
