  • The king of Porsche cartoonists was and still is "Shoe" aka Howard Shoemaker. The factory even published a book of his work. He raised his family with one car, a 356 Speedster. In Omaha, not SoCal.

  • +1 for "Shoe"! Not only a "demented" cartoonist but a talented illustrator. We proudly display in our den a signed, two-print set of Porsche Race Cars that he did in '73.

  • I have been enjoying the Porsche cartoons over the months. Just wondering if there is an archive of all of the cartoons on the flatsixes.com site.

I tried looking but I don’t see any.

    Thanks,

    Roger

    • Hi, Roger,

No archive yet. There is one coming. We're in the process of redesigning the site (again) so that it works better on tablets and mobile phones. As part of that redesign we'll be implementing a few changes. One of those changes will be an easier way to access our archives (including all the cartoons, etc.).

      As always, thanks for reading!

  • I love the current cartoons by Jerry King. He has done slightly more off color numbers for Playboy for 15 years or more.

  • This is a serious problem, ask any Porsche restorer.(like me) I still have things to live for, I dream of a 2014 becoming affordable. That will be awhile. Also, why are there teeth pictures on the wall of the psyhchiatrist's office?.
