A new era begins in motorsports today. For the first time in its history, North America will have a dedicated Porsche 911 factory team, Porsche North America (follow them on Twitter via @porscheNAracing). The Rolex 24 at Daytona will be the inaugural green flag for the factory team and for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

Congratulations to the team for their victory at Daytona!!
One hopes the officiating will stop finding flakey reasons for full course yellow flags in the last laps, and stop making incorrect calls for racing as they did to that Ferrari on the last lap.
A great way to start the season for Porsche!
The call against Level 5 was a travesty. The fact that they rescinded it after already awarding the victory to FLM makes it that much worse.
