This past weekend, the final race of the TUSCC Championship series, Petit Le Mans, was stopped early due to heavy rains. If you’re interested in Porsche’s results you can find them here. However, if you want to see just how heavy the rain was, read on. Leh gave out a link to the video below on his facebook page earlier today. You just new from the comments that it was going to be something special. However, I wasn’t quite expecting to see what I did. The visibility is basically ZERO. You can’t see a thing, yet Leh (and the other drivers) race on. It’s this kind of fortitude and excitement that makes sports car racing such a special sport. Watch the video and see for yourself.

I swear, race car drivers are either crazy, brave, or a little bit of both. There's no way I would drive that fast in the rain.
Nerves of steel to dive into 12 and 1 in that blinding spray. Leh's stint at Nurburgring at night in that kind of rain was the ultimate adrenaline generator - amazing when you consider this PLM was called account of darkness and the rain... and simple good common sense by the organizers.
