Celebrity provenance can definitely lift the value of a Porsche, but not all celebrities are created equal. Take this 1998 993 Cabriolet for example. According to the listing on Autotrader the Porsche was purchased new by comedian turned game show host Drew Carey back in 1997. The current owner purchased the Porsche in 2004 (right around the same time the Drew Carey show was coming to an end on ABC). It can be yours today for $38,000 (a very fair asking pricing given its condition and mileage and “celebrity” provenance).
