Our Favorite Porsches On Ebay: Volume 104

We’ve been compiling some amazing Porsche models on eBay for nearly three years now, and we’ve seen some pretty astonishing cars pop up now and again. This week we’re taking a look at Porsche’s history of entry level sports cars. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed our curated look at the Porsche market. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

1. 2015 Porsche Panamera GTS For Sale

A Panamera GTS is an impressively fun to drive sedan, considering it weighs over 5500 pounds, thanks to a raucous 4.8-liter naturally aspirated V8. The 970 Generation Panamera was an awesome car, despite being a bit ungainly styled. With seating for four adults, this is the Grand Touring style car that every Porsche owner needs to experience. It is equal parts fun and comfort, and would make an incredible daily driver. These are depreciating quite quickly, and can now be found for around $60,000, making it an incredible bargain in today’s market. Would you rather have this, or just another lackluster BMW 5-series?

2. 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 “RS Tribute” For Sale

I used to have an aversion to tributes, but I’ve been coming around to nicely done examples, and this one seems to have captured my imagination. This is a stock Carrera 2 engine car with open exhaust, but the gearbox has been completely regeared to RS specification. The body is visually an RS as well. The suspension, wheels, and tires have also been upgraded. We’re positive this would be an absolute riot to drive, whether on the street or on a race course.

3. 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S Gemballa GTR8XX Evo For Sale

Gemballa claims over 800 horsepower from their Bi-Turbo upgrade kit, making this 911 Turbo S even faster than it was from the factory. With the aero upgrade kit, however, this Turbo now has the hardline visuals and aerodynamic downforce of a GT3 RS. One could argue that Gemaballa built an AWD GT2 RS with more power. This car has all of the crazy you’d expect from a company like Gemballa, but all of the comfort of a 911 Turbo S. If you want to run at the track, but need Porsche turbocharged power, this might be the car for you.

4. 1969 Porsche 911E Race Car For Sale

This track car was recently damaged in a crash, and the owner doesn’t want to deal with it. Their misfortune could be the start of a new motorsport endeavor for you. After you’ve built a custom-built tube-frame front end for the car, this could be the lightweight track monster of your dreams for pennies on the dollar. While this 911 doesn’t come with an engine, basically any engine from any aircooled Porsche could be fitted into the back of it, giving you countless classing options. Do you want crazy turbocharged power in a light body? Do it. A project like this can be anything you want it to be, and the starting price is about as low as you’ll ever see for a 911.

5. 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet For Sale

This gorgeous Carrera 4 Cab is still in like-new condition, and features just 63,000 miles on the odometer. It’s not entirely common to find a car in a shade as gorgeous as Tahoe Blue, but when you do, you have to buy it, right? That goes double for a car with color-matched wheels, because it just doesn’t get cooler than that. This particular 964 is perfectly early 1990s, and you’d be hard pressed to find a more of-the-era car. If you love the 1990s like I do, you’ll probably rush off to eBay to make an offer right now.
