Our Favorite Porsches For Sale This Week: Volume 143

We’ve been compiling some amazing Porsche models on the internet for over five years now, and we’ve seen some pretty astonishing examples pop up now and again. This week we’re focusing on the most important visual upgrade you can give your Porsche, wheels. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed our “curated” look at the Porsche market. Keep in mind, some of these Porsches could be great collection investments, while others might prove to do more financial harm than good.

INTERESTED IN HAVING YOUR PORSCHE FEATURED HERE?

Every other week, we feature 5 of our favorite Porsches for sale. That post is sent out to our mailing list of more than 17,000 Porsche owners and fans and is seen by tens of thousands of other readers who visit our site directly. If you’re selling a Porsche on eBay and would like to see it featured here, just shoot us an email with the details and we’ll be back in touch. Otherwise, feel free to check out all the other eBay listings we have on our Porsches for sale pages.

1. Shelby Wheels For Sale

There is hardly a more recognizable name in American performance than Carroll Shelby. Did you know that he formed a wheel company with his name on it? Primarily sold to Saab owners looking for a lightweight alloy wheel option in an unusual bolt pattern, these wheels are occasionally available on ebay, but I’ve never seen a set for Porsche fitment. This 15″ set appears to be a square fitment in perhaps a 6″ width. They’d look great on narrow-body mid-year cars like my 912E.

2. Rinspeed wheels for sale

If you’re going to drive a big and beefy Porsche, you may as well get a big set of 22″ Rinnspeed wheels for it. I’ve always seen these wheels as a stylish upgrade for Cayenne models. A simple five-spoke design with thick chunky spokes and plenty of void space so you can see those giant brake calipers makes for a nice look on the Porsche truck. This set isn’t perfect, but you or a loved one are bound to curb them anyway.

3. Rare Centerline wheels for sale

According to the listing for these wheels, they were made for some kind of Porsche race car in the 1970s. I’ve never seen a set before, so they certainly grabbed my attention. I could see a privateer using Centerline as a source for Porsche racing wheels in that era, as there weren’t many custom wheel options in those days. This set in 16×8 and 16×9 would look absolutely wild on an impact bumper car, likely necessitating turbo flares.

4. 3.6 Cup Speedline-Style wheels for sale

A set of 18 inch proper 3-piece wheels doesn’t come up often, whether genuine Speedline or not. I’m not sure exactly what fitment these would have been for, as the listing states only an 18×9, but they certainly look staggered in photographs. These are in need of rebuild, but for a properly 1990s-style you can’t beat a chrome three piece.

5. Color-matched Fuchs For Sale

I’m a sucker for color-matched wheels, especially white wheels on a white car. This set of Fuchs looks absolutely perfect, and should immediately be installed on a white 1989 911 Turbo Slant Nose Cabriolet to make it absolutely perfect. If you have one of those, go grab this set of wheels immediately.
