As you can see from the Craigslist listing, the actor who played Batman, Mr. Adam West, is selling his 2007 Porsche Cayman with reasonably low miles, for a relatively decent price. It’s slightly over the standard market price for an early Cayman, but you’ll be hard pressed to find one in such good condition and with so few miles. The description of the car claims it to be a “piece of history”, which I’m not sure I agree with, but it would make for an interesting conversation starter at your next PCA meeting.

So what do you say, is $38,000 a fair price for a properly cared-for, low-mileage, manual transmission Cayman with an interesting owner history? Mr. West seems like one of the most interesting people to talk to, so maybe you could work a dinner invitation into the purchase negotiations. If you get this car and don’t install a fake rock in front of your garage to hide the entrance, then maybe you’re living life wrong.
