Matt Farah has been hosting The Smoking Tire for nearly 10 years. In that time he’s driven nearly every Porsche imaginable. However, one model that kept giving his the slip was the venerable 928. Now, in his most recent One Take episode, Farah gets behind the wheel of a nearly new 928 S4. While I don’t subscribe to some of the very few modifications (the Nardi wheel simply doesn’t work for me and the Turbo Twists look a out of place. Other than that, with only 32,000 miles on the clock this 924 is a survivor and as close to new as most will ever get. Matt does a great job of summing up his experience in the 928 and I think it’s an accurate description of what it’s like to drive Porsche’s front-engined V8 for the first time.

The S4 in 928S4 does NOT stand for 4 valve heads or 4 cams, as stated in the video. It stands for Series 4. The 4 valve heads/4 cam engines cam out in 1985 (Series 3), 2 years prior to the 928S4.
If you want to hear a 928 racing it's hard to beat this one from Mark Anderson's car:
