At this point, if you’re a Porsche fan, you might not recognize the name Rob Dickinson, but you definitely know his company, Singer Vehicle Design. The Porsche 911 Re-imagined by Singer is, in my humble opinion, the ultimate in Porsche porn and as such has been the subject of more videos then Jenna Jameson. That’s why when XCAR emailed us this morning to let us know they had just released a new documentary on Singer we turned our monitor a bit to the side so others couldn’t see it, put on our headphones and clicked play. Here’s what we saw.
We’ve seen films about Singer by /DRIVE, Car and Driver and Jay Leno, just to name a few. And while the video above is most closely aligned with the Chris Harris documentary from /DRIVE, it’s still possible to glean something new as this one is much more about Dickinson’s story and philosophy and less about Harris drifting the Singer around corners.

This is the most interesting piece I've seen or read concerning the Singer cars. It's great to get some deep background and a look "behind the curtain" to see what goes into a brand emotionally and philosophically.
This video is marked "Private" so it is not viewable.
Hey, Brady,
Very interesting. It was live for quite some time and was shown widely around the web. We'll reach out to Xcar and see what's going on. They made a point of contacting us to make sure we featured it...
We reached out, but not sure if we'll hear anything until tomorrow. Until then, we've found another copy of it. Don't know how long it will last.
I love their cars. Really the only car I'd want to own besides our 91 C2 Cab. Can't wait to see them tackle the cab!
